Why is the shockwave not being shipped to Texas I can understand the other states that are listed there because of their liberal policies but never have I known Texas not to allow purchase of certain firearms ?

I believe it has to do with a difference in definition of a shotgun between federal/ATF and the state of Texas. In Texas, a shotgun has to have an 18" barrel and be 26" overall, I believe. While technically, I believe the ATF classifies this as a AOW or any other weapon and not a shotgun, and per the state of Texas' definition of a shotgun, this firearm would technically be a shotgun and as such, it would have to fit the state regulations for shotguns.
Sounds like there are just some quirks in defining what it actually would fall under here, shotgun or AOW, and a lot of the FFL's/dealers are confirming the legality of it here, prior to selling it here. Hope this helps!
