I would like to add a scope to this rifle for longer shots, ex 300-400 yrds. I have a 1-6 x 24 scope that i would like to use. How do I raise the picatinny rail enough to get the front iron sight out of my field of vision? Thanks!!

My question is this: If I live in Lexington and can visit the retail store, how do I get this Taurus for the $185 It's advertised for on this site? In the past the price difference between the online store and the brick and mortar store has been way off. I'd like this gun but I don't understand why a resident of Lexington Ky has to pay significantly more than someone who ships it to another FFL.

From what the webpage shows, it looks like the 22900 comes without a forward assist and with only a mil spec trigger. The 22899 has the forward assist and I am guessing the Blaze Blackhawk trigger although the webpage does not really explain. Everywhere I have looked has the 22900 selling for more than the 22899, some by 100 dollars more. Why would the model with less features be selling for more? Is there something that I am missing here? I have looked at them side by side.

As some have posted, some of the revolvers are shipped with issue above. Mine was shipped with this issue and I figured out the issue and a fix. The cylinder release button has a screw in it. Undo this screw(part73 being very careful as there is a spring inside which jumps out, and this spring is part of the issue). Replace the spring after oiling inside, doing so is very tedious, then put the screw back. I also took out part 70&71 with the hammer back and oiled these parts. (Tweezers needed)
